What is Vocal Presence?
Vocal presence is the way your Being is expressed in your voice.
It is how you get what is inside you out into the world. Clear vocal presence always creates connection and enhances communication..
Far more than just words and tone, it includes the inner state from which words flow, as well as qualities of resonance, timbre, rhythm, pacing, melody, and articulation.
Your voice always affects your listeners because it is both inductive and revealing.
INDUCTIVE means your voice evokes a resonant response in your listeners – psychological, mental, and emotional – far beyond (and often despite) your words. With voice alone you can transmit depth, clarity, power, warmth, ease, courage, inspiration…. Or the opposite.
REVEALING means that everything you are comes through in your voice. Whenever you speak you broadcast information about your interior being and energy level - even your health, education, and mental state.
When you have access to the full range and expressiveness of your natural voice, you can choose what you transmit.
