Jennifer’s experiential group workshops are practical and immediately useful for yoga teachers. Many of our teachers find her work so worthwhile that they repeat her workshop when it’s offered. I also refer teachers to her for private coaching.
She has the ability to spot the causes of many vocal problems and create practices that help individuals solve these problems, expand their vocal range, and protect their voices from strain.

Your passion and presence was uplifting and inspirational. The knowledge you brought to our teacher training will help me better understand myself as a teacher and in everyday life.

Filled with practical exercises tailored to the needs of participants, Jennifer’s workshops are experiential, informative, and fun. Her work always receives glowing feedback from our students.

For Yoga Teachers

I work with many yoga teachers privately.   My workshops are part of teacher training certification curriculum for Iyengar and Kundalini teachers in the Toronto area.

You may wonder:  Why voice coaching for yoga teachers?

Voices are INDUCTIVE.  This means that your tonal quality and the state you speak from evokes a similar resonance in your listeners.  You are transmitting far more than instructions.

Your voice has an immediate physical effect as your sound waves penetrate the bodies of your students, carrying both energy and information.

When you know how to use the full range and expressiveness of your voice, you can choose what you transmit:  Energy and strength in challenging asanas or ease and openness in backbends...Inspiration or intensity or warmth - it’s all in the way you speak.

And if you teach many classes, knowing how to care for your voice and speak without strain will serve you greatly over time.

I am not a yoga teacher, but have practiced yoga for many years. My students tell me that what I do is "yoga for the voice". I love to help yoga teachers be the best they can be.
